STRAWBERRY MATCHA

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 tsp Ceremonial Matcha
  • 1/4 cup 80ºC Water
  • 3/4 cup plant-based milk
  • Sugar, agave, maple syrup or sweetener of choice
  • 1/4 cup whipping cream or thick coconut milk (chilled)
  • 2 tbsp fresh strawberry puree (or a few mashed strawberries, strained)

  1. Prepare your Matcha:
    Retrieve your JAR of Ceremonial Matcha from the freezer and allow it to come to room temperature. This protects its delicate flavor and aroma.
  2. Whisk the base:
    Scoop your matcha into a bowl. Add a splash of 80ºC water—just enough to form a smooth, even paste. Use a chasen (bamboo whisk) in gentle circular motions to dissolve any clumps.
  3. Create the crema:
    Pour in 1 to 2 oz of hot water and whisk vigorously in a zig-zag motion until a layer of fine, emerald microfoam forms on the surface. Add in sweetener if desired.
  4. Assemble with care:                                                                                                       Gently spoon or pour the strawberry puree in your glass. Top with ice, your Matcha, and your milk of choice. Add a dusting of matcha powder, if desired.
  5. Sip with intention:
    Enjoy the harmony of creamy strawberry and vibrant matcha — a layered experience of sweet, lush, and green.
