REFORMATION STRAWBERRY COLD FOAM MATCHA

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 tsp Ceremonial Matcha
  • 1/4 cup 80ºC Water
  • 3/4 cup plant-based milk
  • Sugar, agave, maple syrup or sweetener of choice
  • 1/4 cup whipping cream or thick coconut milk (chilled)
  • 2 tbsp fresh strawberry puree (or a few mashed strawberries, strained)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp maple syrup (optional, for extra sweetness)

KITCHEN TOOLS

  • Whisk

  • Blender / Frother
  1. Procure JAR of Ceremonial Matcha from freezer and allow to come to room temperature.
  2. Scoop your green goods into a bowl.
  3. Add just enough 80ºC water to make a uniform paste with your Ceremonial Matcha.
  4. Use whisk in circular motions to remove any clumps and traces of powder.
  5. Add 1 to 2 oz of water and whisk back and forth in a zig-zag motion to create an oxygen rich and delicious crema.
  6. Your Matcha is ready once the surface is covered in emerald microfoam.
  7. Blend or whisk whipping cream or chilled coconut milk with strawberry puree, vanilla extract, and maple syrup until light and airy.
  8. For a more stable foam, you can use a handheld milk frother.
  9. Gently spoon or pour the strawberry cold foam over your Matcha Latte.
  10. Garnish with a slice of strawberry and / or sprinkle of matcha powder if desired.
  11. Sip and enjoy the layers of creamy strawberry and earthy matcha flavors!
