Our matcha is certified organic by Eco-Cert in Canada and JAScert in Japan, the standards for organic plants and organic processed foods of plant origin.
Our eco-certified matcha farmers practice environmentally friendly and sustainable agriculture.
The majority of our packaging is made from recycled content, to the highest degree allowed by the paper industry's standards. Our boxes are printed in North America (USA and Canada) using materials sourced within each local region, resulting in a much lower carbon footprint than manufacturers who source raw or finished materials from overseas.
Though Uji, Japan is traditionally more well-known for its matcha, innovative farmers have been harvesting incredible matcha near the Akaishi Mountains, a misty area covered in forests, and one of Japan’s best kept secrets.
It's best to store matcha in a cool, dark place, away from moisture in an airtight container.

We ship worldwide. Though green tea is typically duty free in North America, we suggest all customers take local taxes and duties into account for their orders.
